Hibachi the Way It Should Be
Hibachi Xpress brings the energy of the teppanyaki grill to Akron’s Highland Square. Every order is cooked fresh on the flat-top: steak, chicken, shrimp, scallops and salmon piled high with fried rice and vegetables.
Generous portions, bold seasoning, and that homemade YumYum sauce you’ll want on everything. Open late for carryout. Grab it hot and fresh to go.

Do you offer delivery?
Yes. Order directly through our online ordering page for pickup or delivery, or use DoorDash or Postmates. Ordering directly through us skips the third-party app fees.
What comes with a hibachi entrée?
Every entrée is served with fried rice, mixed vegetables and your choice of signature sauce. Our homemade YumYum sauce is the local favorite.
Are you really open late?
Yes. Tuesday through Saturday we serve lunch from 12 to 4 PM, then reopen at 7 PM and stay open until 2:00 AM. Sunday we are open 3 to 9 PM, and we are closed on Mondays.
How long does a pickup order take?
Most pickup orders are ready in about 15 to 20 minutes. Call ahead at (330) 752-0600 and we will have it hot and ready.
Do you have vegetarian options?
Yes. The Veggie hibachi (carrots, onions and broccoli over fried rice) is made without meat. Please note we cook everything on one shared flat-top grill, so we cannot guarantee against cross-contact with meat or seafood.
Where are you located and is there parking?
We are in the Highland Square neighborhood at 810 W Market St, Akron, OH 44303, with parking nearby. We are a quick grab-and-go hibachi spot.
